You can get the social interaction for him by going to a park twice a week where he can play with some kids. Our church has a mother's group that meets at the park once a month and that helps mom's connect with like minded moms. See if there's one around you.
Good luck. I know you will do fine and so will Brady.

AbuelaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144243579460293334.post-26416182495181463062010-09-08T15:18:13.351-04:002010-09-08T15:18:13.351-04:00Hi! As for the pre-k issue, I’m homeschooling my sons and my oldest started pre-k this fall (at home). As for the social aspect…you are a person, interact with the munchkin :) Think I’ll write a whole post on this topic for my blog, because it is something I hear a lot. What program are you using for him?Birdiehttp://www.eclecticmommy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144243579460293334.post-33262182246321371652010-08-30T14:53:11.807-04:002010-08-30T14:53:11.807-04:00I think, if you are going to have a structured lea...I think, if you are going to have a structured learning time at home, the educational value will be fine!
I can't answer to the social part. My older kids both went to pre-school and daycare full time. The twins are doing it part time. They have enjoyed it but it is ME that has enjoyed it the most. I need time with out them.
Soooo, I guess I am not worried about your kiddo so much as I am worried about you!!!
Get your mommy alone time in and then I think you will all be swell *grin*
Cheers~IvyIvyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00950977515943128649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144243579460293334.post-2145463852030327572010-08-20T13:12:34.517-04:002010-08-20T13:12:34.517-04:00I agree He will get the social interaction from ch...I agree He will get the social interaction from church and like Paige said if your ward has a play group or something he will be just fine. Don't stress. He will do a great job and you will do a great job teaching him.Kristiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11798847065054881796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144243579460293334.post-46698468052334955362010-08-20T13:00:15.934-04:002010-08-20T13:00:15.934-04:00I don't think pre-school is necessary, you tea...I don't think pre-school is necessary, you teaching him is sufficient. As for the social outlet, just find a group of woman (usually church group) and do a play group once a week. Thats what I did in Philly and Drake really got a lot of interaction and expended tons of energy.Paige Hannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16580590259195066267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2144243579460293334.post-23958875573776537722010-08-20T12:31:25.278-04:002010-08-20T12:31:25.278-04:00Pre-school is NOT necessary. Ultimately, I decided it was best for him, socially, to go to pre-k, though he's academically more than ready for kindergarten already. I know you just moved...are you close to a library? park? anything? Just make a conscious effort to get him out in social situations as often as possible. You're a WONDERFUL mom! <3Teneciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02165144396084932128noreply@blogger.com
