Though he doesn't generally volunteer the information he reads, I try to ask him whats going on in the world. Most of the time, I here about something randomly then tell him about it like its new news and he's like, 'Yeah, that happened two weeks ago'. I also try to read the top world and national headlines on the 'net. I'm not as "up" on what's going on as I'd like to be either.
