I have been sick for a week and a half, now. I'm feeling better than I did in those first few days, but I still can't seem to feel 100%. Heck, I can't even seem to get back to 85%. I at least have the energy to get my house back in order and feed my family. For a few days, those two things were a little touch-and-go. My boys were getting too used to the "anything goes" mentality I was having with just about everything -
"You want ice cream and chips for breakfast? Sure, just let me rest."

Now, I'm left with a nasty cough and a bit of congestion. The cough is what I really hate. It doesn't seem to be getting better at all. It's one of those coughs that when I'm out in public, I feel like people are thinking, "Why are you out in public infecting all of us innocent people?" I just want to yell out a disclaimer before I enter a store by saying, "I'm not contagious anymore, I promise!"

So, that's me right now. Hopefully I will start feeling up to taking pictures and blogging more in the next few days.

*cough cough*

(Sorry! I promise I'm not contagious.)

I hope you are feeling better. I was sick this week too. I had strep throat. At first the doctor didn't even want to test for it. He said that adults rarely get it. I guess I showed him.
And man oh man, I'm a wimp. How do kids handle this?
